At Pumpkin Cat Games, child safety and digital privacy are fundamental to how we design and build software. Our applications are designed in strict accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the UK Information Commissioner’s Office ICO Children’s Code (Age Appropriate Design Code), the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), and the Apple App Store / Google Play Store “Made for Kids” framework.
1. Core Safety Guarantees
- Zero Personal Data Collection: No user accounts, registration, names, email addresses, location tracking, camera access, or microphone permissions are ever requested or stored.
- No Adverts or Tracking: Our applications are 100% advert-free. We do not integrate advertising networks, tracking cookies, or behavioural profiling tools.
- Local On-Device Storage: High scores, settings, and parental PIN configurations remain stored exclusively on your local device and are never transmitted to external servers.
- Protected Administrative Access: All parental controls, time limit configurations, game visibility toggles, and external links are secured behind a mandatory 6-digit parental PIN gate.

3. Mandatory Parental PIN Protection
Access to administrative controls is restricted strictly to responsible adults through a multi-step PIN verification process:
3.1 Adult-Only Identification
Administrative areas are clearly designated with a dedicated “Grown-ups” shield badge to prevent accidental access.
3.2 Mandatory Initial Setup
- Locked by Default: Entry to Parental Controls is locked on initial launch.
- Adult Confirmation Onboarding: First-time access requires a mandatory onboarding step confirming adult responsibility.
- Two-Step Double Confirmation: Adults must define a 6-digit PIN and re-enter it to confirm before access is saved locally.
3.3 Automatic Re-locking
Exiting Parental Controls automatically re-locks the administrative section, ensuring settings cannot be modified without re-entering the PIN.

When submitted to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, Pumpkin Cat Games operates under the following official declarations:
