Pumpkin Patch
Calm times tables practice for children: pick your own tables, tap the right answer and grow a whole pumpkin patch. Free, offline and advert-free.
Pumpkin Patch is a free times tables game for children. Pick any tables from 2 to 12, then tap the right answer to grow a pumpkin, until 12 pumpkins fill the patch. A wrong answer takes nothing away: that sum simply comes back a little later. There are no adverts, no in-app purchases and no sign-ups, and it works offline.
Built for Families, Not Ad Clicks
Why parents trust this version of Pumpkin Patch over commercial ad-heavy alternatives.
Zero Adverts, Zero In-App Purchases
No banner adverts, video breaks or paid power-ups. Every times table and every level is unlocked from the very first tap.
Every Times Table from 2 to 12
Choose one table or several at once, multiplying only or dividing too, so practice matches what your child is learning at school.
Gentle on Mistakes
A wrong answer never takes a pumpkin away. The sum comes back three questions later, and a hint shows a quick way to work it out without giving the answer away.
Calm or Quick, Your Choice
Take your time with no clock at all, or switch on Beat the clock for six seconds a question, the same pace as the Year 4 multiplication tables check.
How to Play Pumpkin Patch
Simple, timeless rules that children and adults can pick up in seconds.
Pick your tables
Tap the times tables to practise, from 2 to 12. Choose Multiply, or Divide too to mix in division facts as well.
Tap the right answer
Each sum has four answers to choose from. If your child seems stuck, Pumpkin offers a hint that shows a quick way to work it out.
Grow a pumpkin
Every right answer grows a pumpkin. Get one wrong and that pumpkin simply waits: the sum comes back a little later for another go.
Fill the patch
Twelve pumpkins fill the patch. Get 10 or more right first time and those tables move up a level: in order, then mixed up, then missing numbers.

Track their time
A straightforward daily tracker lets you see exactly how long they’ve been playing today, taking the guesswork out of screen time.
Questions parents ask
Is Pumpkin Patch a free times tables game with no ads?
Yes. Pumpkin Patch is completely free, with no adverts of any kind: no banners, no video ads and no pop-ups between rounds. It is one of the games in the free Pumpkin Cat Games app for Android, and every times table and every level is unlocked from the first time your child opens it.
Does Pumpkin Patch have in-app purchases or a subscription?
No. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no coins and no paid hints, so there is nothing for a child to buy by accident. Pumpkin Cat Games makes no money from your child at all: there is no shop, no premium version and no free trial that runs out.
Which times tables does Pumpkin Patch cover?
Every times table from 2 to 12. Your child picks one table or several at once, so they can practise just the 3 times table, or mix the 6, 7 and 8 times tables together. Each table has three levels: in order (8 × 1, 8 × 2…), mixed up, and missing numbers such as 8 × ? = 56.
Can my child practise division facts as well?
Yes. Choose Divide too and Pumpkin Patch mixes division into each round. On the first level it asks each fact both ways, such as 8 × 3 and then 24 ÷ 8. Later levels mix multiplying and dividing, and add missing-number sums both ways, such as 8 × ? = 56 and ? ÷ 8 = 7.
Can Pumpkin Patch help my child practise for the Year 4 multiplication tables check?
It can help with practice. Children in England take the multiplication tables check in Year 4, answering times tables questions up to 12 × 12 with six seconds for each. Pumpkin Patch covers the same tables, and its optional Beat the clock mode gives six seconds a sum, so children can get used to that pace calmly at home.
Is there a timer, or can my child go at their own pace?
Both. Take your time has no clock at all, so your child can think each sum through. Beat the clock gives six seconds a sum for children who want a challenge, and the clock pauses while a hint is showing. Your child can switch between the two before any round.
What happens when my child gets a sum wrong?
Nothing is lost. The right answer is shown, that pumpkin waits, and the same sum comes back three questions later for another go. If your child seems stuck, Pumpkin offers a hint that teaches a quick way to work it out, such as 9 × 6 being 10 × 6 take away 6, without giving the answer away.
What age is Pumpkin Patch for?
Ages 6 and up. In England, children start with the 2, 5 and 10 times tables in Year 2 and are expected to know every table up to 12 × 12 by the end of Year 4, according to the national curriculum for maths. Older children can use it to keep their tables sharp, or to practise division and missing numbers.
Does Pumpkin Patch work offline, on a plane or in the car?
Yes. Pumpkin Patch works fully offline, with no Wi-Fi or mobile data needed, so it works in Airplane Mode on flights and on long car journeys. There are no logins and no online checks, and a round of 12 sums takes only a few minutes.
Does Pumpkin Patch need an account or collect my child's data?
No. There is no account, no sign-up and no email address to give. Your child's progress, such as which tables are on which level, is saved only on the device and is never sent anywhere. There is no tracking and no advertising ID. Read our Child Safety Statement for the full details.
Is Pumpkin Patch on iPhone or iPad?
Not yet. Pumpkin Patch is part of the Pumpkin Cat Games app, which is available for Android phones and tablets on Google Play. All the games, including Pumpkin Patch, come in one free download, with no adverts, no in-app purchases and no sign-ups.
